About Zentro · The people behind the product
Zentro was founded on a simple observation: the world's largest corporations get software engineered to never lose a rupee — while the businesses that keep India's medicines and essentials moving are asked to run on tools from another era. We're closing that gap.
Why Zentro exists
Walk into any pharma distributor's office or busy chemist shop in India and you'll find the same thing: a business moving lakhs of rupees of stock a day, run on software that fights its operator. Cryptic menus. Add-on invoices for every feature. Data sitting unencrypted on a hard drive, or locked behind someone else's cloud login.
The people running these counters are not casual users — they are some of the fastest, most demanding operators of business software anywhere. They deserve engineering that takes them seriously.
So we built Zentro the way enterprise systems are built — audit-grade data integrity, encryption by default, schema discipline that survives years of upgrades — and shaped it around the realities of Indian trade: GST filing from the billing screen, batch and expiry as first-class citizens, WhatsApp as a delivery channel, and billing that never waits for the internet.
One product, one price, everything included. That's not a pricing strategy; it's a statement about respect for the customer.
Co-founder
Hemant has spent his entire 15-year career at SAP — the company whose ERP systems run the majority of the world's largest corporations, where an enormous share of global commerce touches the software he and his colleagues build.
That is a very particular school of engineering. At that scale, ledgers must balance to the last paisa. An auditor must be able to reconstruct any figure, years later. Schemas must survive decades of upgrades without losing a byte of history. And "the system was down" is never an acceptable sentence.
Zentro is that standard, applied to the counter. It shows up in decisions most software never talks about:
What we believe
It lives on your disk, encrypted, exportable, and readable by you — whatever happens to us or to your internet connection.
Every second an operator waits at the counter is a queue growing. Keyboard-first design isn't nostalgia — it's economics.
GST, e-invoicing, e-way bill, TCS — tax work belongs inside the product, done where the bills already are.
No modules, no slabs, no add-on invoices. If we build it, every customer gets it. ₹9,999 a year, everything included.
No sales scripts — a demo with the team, on your own data if you bring a backup. Ask the hard questions.
