Encrypted at rest, always

The entire database is encrypted with AES-256-GCM on disk. A stolen hard drive gives an attacker nothing readable.

Automatic backups, your choice of cloud

Every firm backs up on its own encrypted cycle, every 4 hours — to Zentro's cloud by default, or straight to your own Google Drive if you'd rather hold the copy yourself. Compressed, encrypted, restorable anywhere.

Per-user, per-module permissions

The counter operator sees billing. The accountant sees ledgers. Only the owner sees everything — enforced on the server, not just hidden in menus.

Sync on your terms

Multi-device cloud sync is opt-in. When enabled, your firm's data goes into its own isolated space — and your PC never holds cloud credentials.

Books, not just backups

Your books, reconciled.

Bank reconciliation matches your statement lines against your ledger automatically, and GSTR-2B reconciliation fuzzy-matches purchases even when bill numbers don't line up with the portal — so discrepancies get flagged, not buried.

Your data is yours — on day one and always

Your database lives on your own disk, in a format you can read and export yourself — never locked behind our login. Automatic backups to your own Google Drive sit in an account only you control. Your data is portable and readable, by design — not as an afterthought.

Questions owners ask

Before you trust us with your ledgers.

Who can see my business data?
Only you. The database lives on your own PC, encrypted with AES-256-GCM. We don't have a copy of your data. Even if you enable multi-device sync, your firm's data sits in its own isolated space, and your PC never holds cloud credentials.
Can my staff use it with limited access?
Yes. Every user gets their own login, and you decide per module whether they can view, edit, or see it at all. The counter operator sees billing; the accountant sees ledgers; only you see everything. Permissions are enforced on the server, not just hidden in menus.
Is backing up to my own Google Drive actually safer?
It's a different kind of safe, not a strictly better one. Either way, the backup is automatic, encrypted, and runs every 4 hours — the question is only who holds the copy. Zentro's own cloud (the default) is encrypted and works well for most owners. Some prefer their own Google Drive because it means a second copy exists somewhere independent of Zentro, under an account only they control. Pick whichever lets you sleep better.

Ask us anything about where your data goes.

No question is too basic — bring it to a demo call.
